You can import delivery information into the merchant portal using the following Excel (.xlsx) or CSV files:
Trexity's import template
- Log in to the merchant portal, go to Import Deliveries in the menu, then download the CSV template.
NOTE: If you are opening the template in Microsoft Excel, you may need to expand the row containing the headers in order to see the full header description. I.e. If you only see one word in the headers like "customer" or "order", click and drag the height of that row to make it bigger. - Fill in the fields as required and then save or export the spreadsheet as a CSV file or an Excel (.xlsx) file.
- Make sure to put a "yes" or "no" in the columns for delivery requirements as appropriate. - Go back to the merchant portal:
- Choose the location you're shipping from in the drop-down field.
- Click Import Deliveries, and upload your file. - Confirm which deliveries you want to create by clicking on the check boxes. If you want everything selected, click on the top check box.
- Click the Import Deliveries button. You can see the imported deliveries in the Routes view of the portal.
- Bundle and/or schedule your deliveries when you're ready.
Shopify CSV export
You can pick specific Shopify orders that you want Trexity to deliver by exporting them. This option works if you don't want to integrate your Shopify store with Trexity:
- Follow Shopify's instructions for exporting the orders you want delivered as a CSV: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/export-orders#export-orders.
- NOTE: It's important to avoid altering the CSV between exporting from Shopify and importing into your merchant portal. Editing and resaving the file can sometimes change the format of important info like the Shopify ID number. - Log in to the merchant portal, go to Import Deliveries in the menu and upload your file.
- Confirm which deliveries you want to create by clicking on the check boxes. If you want everything selected, click on the top check box.
- Click the Import Deliveries button. You can see the imported deliveries in the Routes view of the portal.
- Bundle and/or schedule your deliveries when you're ready.
