Signup for a Shopify Plan
If you haven't already, sign up and register for a Shopify plan that best suits your business needs. Shopify plans have a monthly fee and are priced according to your needs. For the Trexity Shopify App integration to work, you must have a Shopify plan with third-party carrier calculated rates.
Need help adding third-party carrier calculated rates?
This feature is included in the Advanced Shopify and Shopify plans. If you're on the Shopify plan, and you switch from monthly to yearly billing, you may be able to ask to get the third-party calculated shipping rates feature added for free. For more information on Shopify plans, contact Shopify Support.
Configure Your Shopify Store
Follow the instructions to set up your store on Shopify’s welcome page. Additionally, you can follow the Getting Started article written by the Shopify team. This article will guide you through getting set up to start selling online.
Add a Canadian Shipping Zone
Currently, Trexity only delivers to Canadian addresses. This means your Shopify store needs to have a Canadian shipping zone for the Trexity Shopify App to be compatible with your Shopify store. In your Shopify store's shipping preferences, add a Canadian shipping zone to one of your shipping profiles.

Trouble meeting the Canadian shipping requirement?
To meet the Canadian shipping requirement, you must have a Canadian shipping zone with at least one rate added to it. You could add a rate that would never actually show up at checkout but would allow you to download the Trexity app. For example, you could set the rate: “for orders worth $10 000, 000 then free shipping”.
If needed, you can add shipping rates to your shipping profiles. These will not affect the Trexity Shopify App. Only appropriate delivery and shipping rates will be shown to your customers according to deliverability.

Check Your Locations
We support multi-location Shopify stores with locations within our service cities. You'll need to match your locations in your Trexity merchant portal to those in your store. For more information on locations, see the Integrations section here.
Configure Trexity Shopify App
During the installation process, you will be asked to log into your Trexity merchant portal. From within this portal go to “Integrations” for additional options:
Override Shopify fulfillment location(s):
When enabled, your business address (set in your Trexity Merchant profile) will be used as the fulfillment location during a rate request and for any fulfillments. This sets the delivery pickup address to match your business address set in your Trexity Merchant profile for all deliveries created from Shopify, regardless of your fulfillment location settings in Shopify.
This setting is intended to only be used if you want to ship from a single physical location/store and don't use Shopify fulfillment locations in the typical manner. Enabling this setting will prevent us from supporting a multi-location Shopify store.
Set Custom Delivery Service Availability
If needed, you can set any custom delivery service availability rules in the Trexity merchant portal in the “Trexity API” preferences page. You can set special conditions for when Trexity should be available or unavailable at checkout based on factors like distance, order value, and/ or delivery rate. For example, you can control delivery costs by making Trexity only available within a certain distance or when the delivery rate is below a certain amount.
Set Custom Delivery Rate Override
If needed, you can set any custom delivery rate rules in the Trexity merchant portal in the “Trexity API” preferences page. This allows you to set custom delivery rates based on factors like distance, order value, and/ or delivery rate that only your customers will see and pay at checkout. For example, you can cover all or part of delivery fees for your customers by setting a flat rate.
Enable Trexity Shopify App
By default, the Trexity Shopify App will be disabled after you install and configure it. To enable the app and have delivery rates appear at checkout, log into your merchant portal then go to “Integrations”. From here, check the box "Show Trexity delivery during checkout". This checkbox can be unchecked at any time to remove the Trexity Shopify App from checkout.
