Signup for a Shopify Plan
If you haven't already, sign up and register for a Shopify plan that best suits your business needs. Shopify plans have a monthly fee and are priced according to your needs. To use the Trexity Shopify App, either a) the Shopify Advanced or Shopify Plus plan must be selected, or b) you must ask Shopify support to add third-party carrier calculated rates to any other plan.
Need help adding third-party carrier calculated rates?
This feature is included in the Advanced Shopify and Shopify Plus plans, and can be added to any plan for a monthly fee. If you're on the Shopify plan or below, and you switch from monthly to yearly billing, you may be able to ask to get the third-party calculated shipping rates feature added for free. For more information, contact Shopify Support.
Configure Your Shopify Store
Follow the instructions to set up your store on Shopify’s welcome page. Additionally, you can follow the Getting Started article written by the Shopify team. This article will guide you through getting set up to start selling online.
Add a Canadian Shipping Zone
Currently, Trexity only delivers to Canadian addresses. This means your Shopify store needs to have a Canadian shipping zone for the Trexity Shopify App to be compatible with your Shopify store. In your Shopify store's shipping preferences add a Canadian shipping zone to one of your shipping profiles.

Configure Trexity Shopify App
During the installation process, you will be asked to log into your Trexity merchant portal. From within this portal, go to “Shopify Preferences”. From this screen, you can configure various preferences that control when deliveries are created and when they are posted to drivers.
Posting deliveries manually
By default, the Trexity Shopify App is configured to post to drivers when a Shopify order is marked as fulfilled. If you want to "mark as fulfilled" on a Shopify order without automatically posting your delivery to drivers, check the box for "Prevent fulfilled orders from pinging drivers". This means you'll need to log in to your Trexity merchant portal and post deliveries from there when you're ready.
Set Custom Delivery Rate Override
Set any custom delivery rate rules or service availability rules in the Trexity merchant portal in the “Trexity API” preferences page. This allows you to set custom delivery rates that only your customers will see and pay at checkout.
Enable Trexity Shopify App
By default, the Trexity Shopify App is disabled after you install and configure it. To enable the app and have delivery rates appear at checkout, log into your Trexity merchant portal then go to “Shopify Preferences”. From here check the box "Show Trexity delivery during checkout". This checkbox can be disabled at any time to remove the Trexity Shopify App from checkout.
